Marriott WTC Survivors Guestbook

Comments:
I was a guest at the hotel and my friend had their wedding at the World Trade Center hotel. It was a beautiful hotel with a gorgeous lobby. I have many great memories of that time. I often wondered what happened to this hotel and all the people in it. It sounds like there were people killed inside the hotel. It makes me more grateful to be alive and knowing it could have been any one of us there that day.

How can we be anything but focused today on what happened 12 years ago today? This particular 9/11 survivors' site was stumbled upon and for reasons I won't go into, I always focused so intently on the that Marriott and what happened there. After reading of the of the experiences of Crystal L. Pedone, I think I can let a little bit of that go. To her, I would say, thank you so much for sharing and I wonder but mostly pray that you have a wonderful life full of joy that overshadows that day. I'll bet you continue to listen to your inner voice and know it was the "feeling" of life that led you to those little changes that kept you safer. Life has many meanings we search for and find throughout life but it is truly the "feeling of life" that gives us the passion FOR life. Good blessings to you throughout your days.

I am so glad that I found this webiste for I am a survivor of that day. I was staying in the Marriott World Trade Center Hotel, room 1747 on 9-11-01. A day that I will never forget. Thank you so much for remembering all of us that were associated with the Marriott World Trade Center Hotel on that day. Even after 10 years have gone by, there is still pain, hurt, confusion and grief from that one day. It will take time for families to heal. Pray without ceasing for those who experienced such tragic pain because of violence. The attacks arenít just one day we need to distantly recall each year. The lives of those directly involved will never be the same and we should not ever get sick of hearing about the stories that day. Guard your heart from becoming calloused. Pray for the families that lost loved ones that day and pray for the survivors.
